  • Feeling like you are a collection of symptoms to seeing this as a portal and having tools that with consistent practice may even help to balance some of the symptoms.

Are you ready to connect more deeply with your body to honor the support your body needs in this transition?

Can you commit to one practice or ritual that makes being in a body feel good again?

What does Ayurvedic & Somatic mean?

I know that it feels like everything is changing and it sometimes seems unbearable.

From your body’s unreliable thermostat to the erratic emotional weather patterns it can feel like your body is experiencing climate change!

And in a sense it is.

Your hormonal, neurological and metabolic systems are rewiring.

You are moving through the portal from someone who has the ability to reproduce to someone with the capabilty to deeply tap into and hold wisdom.

And the portal between these two phases of life is no joke - especially in a society that is just beginning to learn about and understand the significance of this transition.

This tool kit is not going to fix all your problems or pretend your symptoms don’t exist- but it can give you some time honored tools to nourish your body and nervous system, to ease symptoms, to open up a conversation with your body and create some daily rituals that help you feel like yourself again.

This tool kit is also not a magic bullet or quick fix - it is slow medicine - it is sustainable and reaps the most benefits with consistency. Luckily these practices feel so good - they are easy to do over and over.

Ayurveda is an ancient system of medicine that originated in India thousands of years ago. Ayurveda is a sanskrit word that translates to “the study of life”.

It is a system of medicine based in the elements and cycles and seasons of nature or life.

In Ayurvedic philosophy menopause is not a diagnosis but a natural stage of life that needs different support.

You do not need to know about Ayurveda to do these practices - but an Ayurveda 101 video is included to give you a little background.

The word somatic means “of the body”. In the context of this course, we are using these practices to be in conversation with the body.

These practices help us to connect with our bodies more deeply, to give input and receive feedback - to be in relation with the body instead of always overriding it.

Many of the practices included have some research backing up their effects which I will into in the course videos!
